Midas Auto Service Experts is seeking a highly experienced Automotive Technician with 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience. If you're a self-motivated technician who can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles with minimal supervision, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
- Perform engine diagnostics and Check Engine Light repairs
- Brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust system repairs
- A/C, heating, cooling system, and electrical diagnostics
- Battery, starting, and charging system repairs
- Oil changes and factory scheduled maintenance
- Tire mounting, balancing, and repairs
- Complete digital vehicle inspections and recommend needed repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience (Required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working on both foreign and domestic vehicles
- Proficient with scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of electrical, engine performance, suspension, and brake systems
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Valid California Driver's License
- Must own professional automotive tools
