Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of repair processes
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Experience with Cadillac or GM vehicles preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license required; ASE or manufacturer certifications a plus
- Inspect and diagnose customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
- Perform repair and maintenance work accurately and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines
- Estimate repair costs and communicate findings clearly
- Request and manage parts needed for repairs
- Document all services performed thoroughly and accurately
- Maintain CSI scores at or above company standards
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system
- Participate in required training and ongoing development
- Comply with all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations and policies
