Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, alignments, brakes, shocks & struts, and tire services.
Repair or replace components such as ADAS systems, air brakes, and auto body parts as needed.
Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid replacements, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal operation.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs and maintenance procedures.
Perform specialized repairs on diesel engines and GM vehicles with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct welding and other fabrication tasks when necessary for auto body repair or structural modifications.
Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle and communicate findings clearly to customers.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Skills
Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
Proficiency in reading automotive schematics and electrical systems.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, steering, and alignment.
Experience working with diesel engines, auto body repairs, welding, and auto estimating is preferred.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting complex electronic issues such as ADAS.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required for automotive repair tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
