Required
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain
2+ years of automotive repair experience
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Own basic hand tools
Preferred
ASE Master Technician certification
Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
Technical school or apprenticeship training
Experience with specific makes/models [specify if applicable]

Diagnostic & Repair
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections)
Repair or replace damaged parts including engines, transmissions, and steering systems
Troubleshoot electrical and computer systems
Quality & Safety
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections
Document all services and repairs accurately
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications
Customer Service
Communicate repair needs and recommendations to service advisors
Provide excellent customer service and build trust
Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner
