B Level Automotive Technician – FOUR Day Work Week!!!
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Pay: $20 – $25/hr Base + Production Bonus
Potential Earnings: Up to $100K+ Annually
Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a skilled B Level Automotive Technician for a well-established independent repair shop in Harrisburg, PA. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles
- Complete brake, steering, suspension, and general mechanical repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document findings using digital inspection software
- Utilize scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle concerns
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure quality customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Assist in mentoring and supporting apprentice-level technicians as needed
- Follow ASE-certified repair procedures and shop quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong understanding of brakes, steering, suspension, and general repair work
- Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required
- ASE Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain certifications
- Pennsylvania State Inspection License preferred or willingness to obtain shortly after hire
- Experience using scan tools and digital vehicle inspection systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to continue learning
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay plus production bonuses
- Production incentives:
- +$1/hr at 80% productivity
- +$3/hr at 90% productivity
- +$5/hr at 100% productivity
- +$8/hr at 110% productivity
