Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $19–$28/hr + Overtime (Depending on Experience)
Earning Potential: $50,000 – $65,000+ Annually

Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a B+ Level Automotive Technician for a well-established, growing repair shop in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent hours, weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a Monday-through-Friday schedule that lets you enjoy your weekends without hearing a service bell ring.
This role is ideal for a technician who can confidently handle mechanical repairs and wants to continue developing diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services and mechanical repairs on Domestic and Asian vehicles
- Complete brake, steering, suspension, and general automotive repair work
- Support shop productivity while maintaining quality workmanship and efficiency
- Assist with automotive diagnostics and continue developing electrical troubleshooting skills
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment including Autel, Zeus, IDS, FDRS, and ATS Scope
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and accurately document findings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians to keep repairs moving smoothly
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform most repairs independently
- Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and a desire to expand diagnostic capabilities
- Experience with brake systems, suspension systems, steering repairs, and general service work
- ASE Certifications preferred (and fully supported by the shop)
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and positive mindset
- Valid driver's license required
