Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Georgesville, located in Columbus, OH, is GROWING, and want you to join their award winning service team!! They are looking for ALL LEVELS OF TECHNICIANS! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

The service shop is expanding and the workload is increasing! Performance CDJR is adding a second shift to their rotation - 5:00 pm to 3:00 am.

Job Responsibilities:

• Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic)
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
• Must have automotive dealership experience 
• Comfortable with flat-rate pay 
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
