Autos of Chicago is a growing independent dealership specializing in pre-owned luxury vehicles. With our in-house service department and body shop, we provide top-level maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on high-end brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, and more.


We’re looking for skilled Automotive Technicians/Mechanics who take pride in their craft and want to work with premium vehicles in a professional, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities


  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles (domestic and luxury imports).
  • Conduct inspections (safety, UCI, reconditioning) and provide repair recommendations.
  • Complete repair orders accurately in the DMS with clear technician notes.
  • Work with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer and dealer standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
  • Assist with vehicle reconditioning for front-line readiness.
Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (luxury/high-line preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred (but not required).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
