Promotive is hiring an A or Master Level Automotive Technician in Richmond, VA

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs on Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles
- Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, drivability, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems
- Complete timing belts, wheel bearings, brake repairs, maintenance services, and complex mechanical repairs
- Utilize ALLDATA, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
- Perform Virginia State Inspections
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and vehicle status
- Maintain accurate documentation and repair quality standards
- Keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience required
- A-Level or Master Technician diagnostic ability required
- Strong experience with Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles preferred
- Advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in independent repair shops and/or dealerships
- Virginia State Inspection License required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Flat Rate Pay: $35-$40/hr based on experience
