About the Opportunity
Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for a highly respected independent repair shop in Wilmington, NC. We're seeking either an A-Level Diagnostic Technician or a strong B+ Technician looking to grow their skills in a technician-focused environment.
Enjoy working in a clean, air-conditioned shop, with modern equipment, supportive leadership, and no weekend work.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, and engine performance issues
- Service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
- Perform brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs
- Utilize Autel and Snap-On diagnostic equipment
- Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
- Maintain quality workmanship and efficient productivity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Independent shop experience preferred
- Ability to consistently flag hours
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Compensation
A-Level Technician
- $40-$50 per flagged hour
- $83K-$150K+ earning potential
Strong B+ Technician
- $30-$40 per flagged hour
- Strong earning potential based on productivity
