We're looking for an experienced Automotive Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of a well-established, high-performing independent repair shop in Lawrence, KS.

What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day shop operations
- Drive sales, productivity, and overall shop performance
- Coach, mentor, and motivate the team
- Oversee workflow to maximize efficiency
- Write estimates and support the service team as needed
- Manage scheduling based on business demands
- Monitor inventory and control operating costs
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Help the business continue to grow
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of automotive management experience
- 3+ years as a Service Advisor
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing shop operations and business performance
- Knowledge of shop management software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with inventory control
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of technician workflow and flat-rate pay systems
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate a team
