Job Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team of service technicians effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality automotive services while maintaining operational efficiency within our dealership.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Facility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Manage and mentor a team of service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
Ensure that all vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes and repairs, are performed to the highest standards.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and proper use of power tools.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies necessary for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Collaborate with dealership management to develop strategies for improving service department performance.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an automotive service management role or similar position within a dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including the use of power tools and heavy lifting techniques.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
Ability to maintain a positive work environment while managing multiple tasks under pressure.
Strong leadership skills with experience in training and developing service technicians.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive technology or management preferred.
