Automotive Service Technician

Stewart Automotive Group currently has an opening for an Automotive Mechanic and is looking for someone who is willing to grow in their automotive career. Stewart Automotive has been a family owned dealership since 1933 and is looking for someone to join and grow in their family.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to perform general maintenance
• Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, steering components
• Perform diag/repairs on different types of engines and transmission.
• Able to properly diagnosis electrical and drivability concerns
• Work on gas and diesel vehicles.

We are also looking for entry level technicians (lube technician): primary responsibilities will be to perform maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, fluid services, tire rotation, tire replacements, etc) and perform new vehicle inspections.

Requirements:

• Valid CA Driver License with a clean driving record
• 3-5 years of automotive experience
• ASE Certified is a plus but not a requirement
• Ability to work independently, but also assist other technicians when needed
• Able to lift 50 + pounds at a time
• Provide your own tools
• Must perform online and in class studies in order to keep up to date with all Chrysler Products.
