The Service Manager is responsible for all operations within the service department - from hiring and managing technicians and service advisors to customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Combine strong technical skills with people skills to ensure that the dealership provides a high level of customer service within the Service department
• Responsible for driving profitability and CSI within the service department-meeting both internal and manufacturer goals
• Ensuring customer follow-up through the day to day management of the Service Advisors
• Provide on the job training to the service department and regular reporting
• Assist the company in meeting the standards of providing a safe and healthy work environment, while meeting OSHA compliance standards
• Ensure that the service department meets all customer satisfaction, retention and financial goals
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Core Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2+years of management experience in an automotive service department preferred 
• Supervisory skills
• Ability to maintain a level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations
• Professional personal appearance
• Attention detail, organized and friendly personality
• Proven track record in customer service
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
