We're looking for a proven automotive leader who understands that every repair order is a revenue opportunity, every customer interaction is a relationship moment, and every declined service is a future conversation — not a closed door. You'll run daily operations at a high-volume service center while obsessively driving ARO, close rate, and the kind of customer loyalty that fills bays without paid advertising.

You have genuine sales instincts — you naturally present, recommend, and close. You've coached advisors to do the same, and you hold them accountable to recommendation rates, not just clock hours. You track declined work and you have a system for following up on it.

You're obsessed with customer relationships. You know regulars by name. You respond to reviews personally. You believe CSI scores are a lagging indicator of something you already know from walking the floor. You build loyalty through trust, not discounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales leadership & revenue growth

  • Coach service advisors daily on presentation, recommendation, and closing skills
  • Track and improve ARO, hours per RO, close rate, and effective labor rate
  • Own the declined work pipeline — build follow-up systems that convert deferred services
  • Set and pursue monthly revenue targets; identify gaps early and course-correct fast
  • Drive upsell culture without sacrificing customer trust — the best advisors do both
·
Customer Service Excellence

  • Be personally visible to customers — on the floor, not behind a desk
  • Ensure every customer receives accurate estimates, timely updates, and quality repairs
  • Handle escalations directly; turn unhappy customers into loyal ones
  • Monitor and respond to reviews; treat CSI scores as a team accountability tool
  • Build the kind of shop reputation where customers refer friends without being asked

Financial Performance
·       Manage shop P&L, including labor costs, parts margins, and overhead expenses
·       Set and track revenue targets, implement strategies to achieve or exceed monthly goals
·       Control parts inventory, vendor relationships and purchasing to optimize gross profit
·       Review daily financial reports and take corrective action when performance trends down.

Required Qualifications
·       5+ years of automotive service experience with at least 2+ years in a management role
·       Strong working knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
·       Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume shop (150+ ROs per week)
·       Proven record of ARO growth and advisor sales coaching
