<div><strong>Job description:</strong></div><div>Position is for a Service Technician. Advise and consult customers on vehicle service needs. Create repair orders for customers and communicate with the service department.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Promptly meets and greets customers</li><li>Determines the nature of customer problems</li><li>Creates a Repair Order detailing the service to be performed</li><li>Obtains customer approval for service before delivering the repair order to service personnel</li><li>Reviews completed repairs or services performed with customers and collects payment</li><li>Performs daily cash/sales procedures at the close of the business day</li></ul><div><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software</li><li>Knowledge of auto/truck Repairs, tire, lube, and maintenance issues</li><li>Experience using All-Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions</li></ul><div><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></div><ul><li>1+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance</li><li>1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership, or comparable professional environment.</li><li>Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician</li></ul>
