Automotive Service Advisor – $60K Base + Monthly Bonus – No Weekends
Location: Smithfield, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $60,000 Base Salary + Monthly Performance Bonus

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a well-established, family-owned automotive repair and tire shop in Smithfield, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicle repairs. You'll join a growing, team-oriented shop with modern equipment, paid training, excellent benefits, and a Monday-Friday schedule—no weekends required.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and provide an outstanding customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.
- Listen to customer concerns, accurately document repair requests, and communicate vehicle needs to technicians.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates and present maintenance and repair recommendations with confidence.
- Build trust with customers through honest communication and exceptional follow-up.
- Coordinate repair progress and provide timely updates throughout the service process.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and schedule service appointments efficiently.
- Work closely with technicians and management to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.
- Utilize the shop management system to maintain accurate repair orders, customer information, and service history.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer required.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proven sales ability with the confidence to recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using automotive shop management software is preferred.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $60,000
