Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 Base + Commission / Bonuses (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a thriving independent repair shop in St. Louis Park, MN! Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create an exceptional service experience from check-in to pickup
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow to keep the shop operating efficiently
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and explain maintenance recommendations with confidence
• Source and order OE and aftermarket parts as needed for repairs and maintenance
• Communicate consistently with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and completed work
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation using TekMetric and AutoVitals
• Collaborate closely with technicians and suppliers to ensure efficient turnaround times
• Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
• Assist with tire recommendations, maintenance sales, and additional service opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience using TekMetric, AutoVitals, or similar shop management software preferred
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services
• Experience sourcing automotive parts from OE and aftermarket suppliers
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced shop environment
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong attention to detail
• Tire knowledge and tire sales experience are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
