Compensation: $50,000-$80,000 base salary depending on experience
Bonus Potential: $10,000-$12,000 annually

Position Summary
Promotive is hiring an experienced Service Advisor for a busy, award-winning independent repair shop in Harrisburg, PA. This is a full-time opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional with strong sales ability, proven service writing experience, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and build trust from the moment they arrive
- Listen to customer concerns, document vehicle issues clearly, and create accurate repair orders
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs, inspections, and technician findings
- Provide estimates, explain repairs in customer-friendly terms, and help close approved work
- Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and recommended services
- Deliver a high level of customer service that supports repeat business and long-term loyalty
- Use shop management and digital vehicle inspection software to manage workflow and communication
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar automotive customer-facing role
- Proven sales ability and confidence presenting repair and maintenance recommendations
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Personable, professional, and able to create a welcoming experience for customers
- Self-starter who can work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced shop
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with shop management software; Tekmetric experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $50,000-$80,000 depending on experience
- Monthly bonus opportunity with annual bonus potential of $10,000-$12,000
