We are searching for a self-motivated Parts Specialist with strong customer service skills. In this role, you will work in the main office hand-in-hand with the service writer/owner. This position is ideal for automotive technicians looking for a change, service writers, or individuals with experience in a parts department. Training will be provided if needed.


Your Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers during vehicle drop-off and pick-up 
  • Answering phone calls, assisting with basic questions and scheduling, and forwarding appropriate calls to the service writer 
  • Looking up, comparing pricing, and ordering parts for repairs 
  • Overseeing parts deliveries and verifying accuracy/quality of delivered parts 
  • Managing parts returns 
  • Occasionally picking up parts from local dealerships 
  • Monitoring and ordering shop inventory such as oil, windshield wipers, oil filters, and other supplies 
  • Ensuring merchandise and inventory are organized and restocked properly
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Experience using computer programs and applications (Mitchell1, WorldPac, Advance Auto, etc. is a major plus) 
  • General understanding of automotive repair parts and repair processes 
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to lift, load, receive, and deliver merchandise 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Salary
We believe our team members should feel valued and fairly compensated for the hard work they put in. Compensation is based on experience, quality of work, reliability, and overall ability.


Compensation ranges approximately from $20–30/hr depending on experience and skill level.

Schedule
Full-time and modified schedules may be available 
 Current shop hours are: 
  •  Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
  •  Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Time Off
  • 5 Paid Sicks Days 
  • 5 Paid Time Off Days
