Position Overview
This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and shipping automotive parts while maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the parts department.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts according to department guidelines
Ship outgoing parts using proper packaging and procedures
Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with periodic inventory audits
Inspect incoming shipments, including glass and sheet metal, for damage
Assign parts to correct bin locations and maintain organization
Notify Service Advisors of incoming special order and overnight parts
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Operate parts department equipment safely and properly
Assist team members with daily operations as needed
Report any safety or operational concerns to management immediately
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Forklift experience preferred
Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay based on experience starting at $18.00 per hour
