Automotive Parts Driver

Neil Huffman VW/Mazdais currently seeking a full time parts delivery driver. Our parts drivers are responsible for delivering and picking up parts from various dealerships and body shops. This work must be done in an accurate and timely manner. Previous experience preferred.

Position days: Monday through Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities are the delivery or parts. Secondary responsibilities are assisting counter person.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Parts Manager.

DUTIES:

1. Safe and timely delivery of parts to customers.
2. Assist counter person as necessary.
3. Assist with inventory control.
4. Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean.
5. Maintain neat and professional appearance of person and work area.
6. Arrive before designated starting time.
7. All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

1. Excellent communication and people skills.
2. Knowledge of city/county and surrounding areas.
3. Ability to read and interpret a map.
4. Maintain good driving record.
5. Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
6. Computer literate or trainable.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

1.High school diploma or GED equivalent.

2. Warehouse or material handling experience a plus.

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds independently is required.
