Stewart Automotive Group currently has an opening for an Automotive Mechanic and is looking for someone who is willing to grow in their automotive career. Stewart Automotive has been a family owned dealership since 1933 and is looking for someone to join and grow in their family.
Knowledge; Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform general maintenance
- Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, steering components
- Perform diag/repairs on different types of engines and transmission.
- Able to properly diagnosis electrical and drivability concerns
- Work on gas and diesel vehicles.
We are also looking for entry level technicians (lube technician): primary responsibilities will be to perform maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, fluid services, tire rotation, tire replacements, etc) and perform new vehicle inspections.
- Valid CA Driver License with a clean driving record
- 3-5 years of automotive experience
- ASE Certified is a plus but not a requirement
- Ability to work independently, but also assist other technicians when needed
- Able to lift 50 + pounds at a time
- Provide your own tools
- Must perform online and in class studies in order to keep up to date with all Chrysler Products.
