We are seeking an experienced Automotive Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our Equipment Planning Group supporting paint department operations.
This role involves approximately 80% office-based and 20% shop-floor activity, and requires hands-on involvement in equipment specifications development, project management, and manufacturing-focused requirements (for example, materials handling).
The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience, practical knowledge of robotics and maintenance, and the ability to execute and inspect equipment and systems on site.
Candidates with SEIBI experience are highly desirable.
Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential; CAD/AutoCAD skills are a plus.
Responsibilities include supporting conveyor and paint-line projects, planning equipment, creating and reviewing technical and inspection documentation, participating in on-site inspections, and performing quality check
