Main Shop Technician

Jim Riehl’s Friendly Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Lapeer, MI is looking for a Main Shop Technician to join our team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Perform work with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose any malfunction and determine root cause
- Communicate with Service Advisors & Parts Department to quote and perform proper repairs
- Road-Test vehicles as required
- Keep shop areas neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools
Job Requirements:
- State certified Mechanic. ASE certified and/or dealership experience preferred
- Three (3) years automotive repair experience
- Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
- Must pass drug screen
