Shottenkirk Automotive is looking for an experienced Internet Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role will be critical to our success within our sales organization, and will lead the team to capitalize on every lead that comes through. We’re looking for someone who has experience growing sales within the automotive industry, along with coaching and leading a team to hit their targets. The ideal candidate can step in and take over, but we will provide necessary training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers

  • Manage business development representatives for internet lead generation process

  • Handle all incoming internet email leads

  • Be available to respond to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner

  • Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection – be the product expert & sounding board

  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet

  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately

  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly

  • Hold yourself and others to high moral and ethical standards and conduct yourself with honesty and integrity

  • Participate in the new hire and interview processes for all new consultants.

  • Oversee CRM usage

  • Create, maintain and measure the internet business development processes

  • Moniter, manage, motivate the sales team to be the best versions of themselves.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive dealership experience - 2-4 years experience preferred 

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to stay strong and calm in a stressful environment; must thrive under pressure

  • Strong Closing Skills

  • Strong Ethics and Values

  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills

  • Excellent People Skills

  • Must Pass Pre-employment Background and Drug Screen

  • Must have valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record test
