Responsibilities:

• Automotive Diesel Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on Diesel
• Vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain diesel mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made

**Position is located in St Petersburg, FL**

Job Requirements:

• Level III Chrysler Certification required
• 3+ years of Automotive Experience required
• 5 Certifications from The National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) which include: engine repair, engine performance, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, automatic transmissions, manual transmission and axle, brakes and front end
• Ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and AC systems
• Hold a valid driver’s license
