Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM | Saturday 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
Flexible Option: 5-Day Work Week Available
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hr Flat Rate + Bonuses
Earning Potential: $100K–$130K+ Annually

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician for a busy, high-volume indpendent shop in Roseville, MI. If you enjoy diagnostics, challenging repair work, staying productive, and actually making serious money for your skillset — this is the opportunity.

You’ll work in a fully equipped, technician-friendly environment with modern tools, steady workflow, paid training, and enough cars coming through the doors to keep good techs very busy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• Diagnose drivability issues, electrical concerns, check engine lights, engine performance problems, steering, and suspension systems
• Handle complex repair work efficiently and accurately using modern scan tools and diagnostic software
• Complete inspections and identify maintenance and safety concerns
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, engine, and general repair services with high-quality workmanship
• Work alongside a productive team in a fast-paced, high-car-count environment
• Document repair findings clearly and accurately
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of “extra bolts”

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong A-Level diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to solve complex vehicle issues independently
• Experience using professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• ASE certifications preferred
• Michigan state certifications are a plus
• Experience with Sprinter, ProMaster, and Transit vehicles highly valued
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills
• Team-oriented attitude with willingness to help others when needed
