What You’ll Own

 

 

As the Automotive Detail Team Lead, you will be responsible for both hands-on detailing work and leading daily operations of the detailing team.

 

 

Leadership Responsibilities

 

 

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of detailers to maintain high performance and morale

  • Set daily priorities and assign work to ensure efficiency and deadlines are met

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all vehicles meet dealership standards

  • Train new hires and continuously develop team members’ skills

  • Partner with service, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow

  • Identify process improvements to increase speed, quality, and consistency

 

 

 

Detailing Responsibilities

 

 

  • Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to a high standard

  • Clean interior and exterior windows, vacuum, and scrub interiors

  • Detail engine bays and apply protective treatments

  • Apply tire and trim dressing

  • Utilize professional-grade cleaning products and tools

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

 

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

 

  • Prior automotive detailing experience required

  • Leadership or team lead experience preferred (or strong desire to grow into leadership)

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work

  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead by example

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Positive, accountable, and results-driven mindset

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
