Automotive Detailer

Job Overview
We are searching for a skilled commercial vehicle detailer to add to our team at Industrial Communications. In this position, it will be your job to provide a variety of cleaning services to the interiors and exteriors of our company vehicles. Your duties will include washing all company vehicles, buffing them, and waxing their exteriors as needed. In addition, you will also be tasked with vacuuming, steaming, deodorizing the interiors of cars, and more.

To do well in this position, you will need to be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for the majority of your shifts. Washing occurs outside, but drying and detailing can be done inside. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to do quality work with minimal supervision.

We prefer candidates who have previous experience with detailing vehicles; however, we will consider applicants who show initiative and interest.

This position is 40 hours, 5 days a week year-round.

Duties

• Clean the interior and exterior of a variety of vehicles including SUV's, pickups, utility bodies box truck, bucket trucks, etc., using a variety of products and methods
• Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of our vehicles as needed.
• Vacuum the interiors of the vehicles.
• Perform inspections to ensure that each step of the cleaning process has been completed
• Assist us in the management of rotating vehicle inventory for cleaning and reordering of supplies
• Perform other administrative tasks as requested by supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with vehicle detailing preferred
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Willingness to comply with all company procedures and policies
• Ability to use a variety of car cleaning products and tools
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
