Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail, and we are looking to add qualified Automotive Deisel Technician to our team at Group 1 Ford of Pensacola.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
  • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

 

Qualifications:

 

  • ASE Diesel Certifications are a plus
  • A strong passion for diesel engines, diagnostics, and repairs
  • A Love of Everything Automotive

  • Tools Based on your Experience
  • Communication Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Strong Desire to Provide Exceptional Client Experience
  • Ability to Achieve Targeted Goals
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License
