    Automotive Accounting Office Clerk

    Acton Ford – Acton, MAFull-Time | Monday–Friday

    Position Summary

    Acton Ford is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Office Clerk to support daily dealership accounting and administrative operations.

    We operate in a team-oriented accounting office where cross-training and collaboration are essential to supporting dealership operations. This is an IN OFFICE position.

    The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Process vehicle deals and funding packets
    • File vehicle sales paperwork into deal jackets
    • Prepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jackets
    • Follow up on lien payoffs to ensure timely title returns
    • Issue stock numbers for new vehicle invoices
    • Prepare key tags, window tags, and vehicle folders
    • Scan warranty repair orders, parts invoices, and repair orders into the DMS system
    • Reconcile daily deposits and petty cash
    • Maintain organized office files and records
    • Communicate with Sales, Service, and Parts departments to ensure accurate paperwork completion
    • Participate in cross-training and support general office operations as needed
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
    • 2 years of automotive, power sports, RV, or motorcycle dealership experience preferred
    • Experience with dealership management systems (CDK or similar) preferred
    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and general ledger flow
    • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, or similar productivity platforms
