If you're ready to grow and make an impact, we'd love to be on your team.As a Automation technician you will work closely with customers in the field to remotely maintain the control systems within a major pipeline customer to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency. Their duties require knowledge ofelectronics, mechanics andcomputers. Automation technicians will perform routine diagnostic checks onautomated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate problems and perform repairs. If a problem occurs, the technician needs to be able to troubleshoot the issue and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from thecomputer systems controlling the process. Once the issue has been diagnosed, the technician must guide others to repair or replace any necessary components, such as a sensor or electrical wiring.
