Title: Automation Technician (Assembly)
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Role Summary:
Support and maintain automated manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on automation, robotic, and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic system issues.
- Assist with equipment qualification and validation activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, test results, and equipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2 4+ years of automation, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Experience with automated assembly or robotic equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance processes.
