Shift:2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation Specialist (Engineer) with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and strong experience in packaging automation. This role is responsible for programming, designing, deploying, and optimizing control systems to enhance packaging line performance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of packaging automation systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA).
Provide support for installation, startup, and qualification of new automation equipment.
Troubleshoot complex automation and control systems.
Develop and maintain control documentation and strategies.
Collaborate across departments to ensure successful project execution.
Drive continuous improvement to increase line efficiency and reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and safety standards.
Support shift operations from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and be available for travel as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in packaging systems.
Proficiency in PLC (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI/SCADA programming.
Experience with robotics, motion control, and packaging integration.
Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Experience with GMP, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and networked systems.
