SUMMARYThis position is a part of the general maintenance group that installs maintains and repairs automated equipment controls systems and general equipment in the facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHelp install and repair all equipment throughout the facility primarily focusing on automated equipment and control systemsDiagnose repair and document issues with electrical mechanical and software issues to minimize downtimeAdhere to safety protocols adhere to lockouttagout procedures and ensure all systems comply with safety regulationsAssist with the upkeep and repair of buildings and groundsKEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESProven ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot electrical mechanical and software issues Ability to interpret electrical schematics blueprints and wiring diagrams of new and existing systemsWorking with cross-functional teams of Operators to Management to solve problemsExcellent communicationwithin a cross-functional team of Operators and Management to Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Engineering for new system installation and continuous improvement projectsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent GEDAssociate degree in Industrial Automation Mechatronics or Electrical Technology preferred.Certification from ISACertified Control System Technician - CCST vendor-specific Siemens Rockwell etc. and OSHA preferred.Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing settingWORKING CONDITIONSOTHERWork HoursStatusThe 1st shift includes Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm.The 2nd shift includes Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of 3.00hr.The weekend shift includes Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of 4.50hr.This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties responsibilities and competencies required of this position.
