The Automation Field Service Engineer at Koops provides on-site support to repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot custom automation equipment at customer facilities. This role is critical to maintaining peak system performance and ensuring long‑term customer satisfaction across a wide range of industries. At Koops, we aren't just recruiting employees — we're looking for fellow owners, because we are proudly employee‑owned (ESOP).What You'll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and upgrade custom automation equipment at customer sitesSupport system performance and reliability throughout the equipment lifecycleDiagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systemsPerform hands‑on work with PLCs, HMIs, robots, and vision systemsCoordinate solutions with internal teams and communicate directly with customersTravel to customer sites across North AmericaMaintain strong documentation and communication on service activitiesDeliver high‑quality service with a focus on customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a hands‑on problem solver who enjoys working in the field, learning new technologies, and delivering solutions directly to customers.
