Position Automation Fabrication Technician Location Huntsville AL JOB DESCRIPTION Produce mechanical components for custom automation equipment. This includes basic set up and operation of Waterjet Press Brake and other pieces of equipment. In addition reading drawings and BOMs to produce components to specifications. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Valid drivers license Speak and understand English Read and write proficiently Basic computer skills Windows Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Energetic with a drive for continuous process improvement. Own some basic machinists tools - calipers MICs indicators hand tools etc. Two years of fabrication experience Ability to read prints and select proper tooling to make parts to drawings. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS PEFERRED CAM Programming experience Forklift experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
