Are you ready to build your career by joining a certified technology solutions and compliance consulting services company? If so, our client is hiring an X Automation Engineer – Cold Room.

Position Type:
  • Contract
  • Hybrid – 50% on-site ~ 50% remote 
Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 10+ years in Industrial Refrigeration and Cold Room Design.
  • 5+ years in CO2 cold room design and operation.
  • Proficiency in automated processes, technologies, and systems deployment and adoption.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and validation processes.
  • Experience working in an operational GxP-regulated environment with a strong understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
  • Direct experience working in regulated environments (GMP, OSHA, and EPA).
  • Willingness to travel, as required; fluent in English with effective communication skills. 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cold room and industrial refrigeration systems supporting manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure cold room systems meet engineering, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Lead commissioning, startup, qualification, validation, and operational readiness activities for CO2-based cold room and ASRS environments.
  • Support the development, testing, implementation, validation, and operation of critical automation and software systems associated with cold chain operations.
  • Drive and oversee CQV activities for cold room and refrigeration systems.
  • Provide operational training, user adoption support, and establish best practices as the technical SME for cold room systems.
  • Collaborate with Quality, CSV, Manufacturing, Packaging, IT/OT teams, and external vendors to deliver compliant, reliable, and efficient cold chain solutions while meeting project schedules and objectives.
