Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in software test engineering and a passion for developing automation solutions. This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX, and offers a 6-month duration with potential for extension.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation development in software test engineering.
• Experience developing software automation for web browser-based workflows.
• Proficiency with Python, Swift, XCTests, and Selenium.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
• Strong communication, written skills, and interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain inter-departmental relationships.
• Ability to decompose large workflows into smaller automation test cases.
• Experience with developing web-based automation frameworks as well as results reporting.
• Experience in testing web browsers.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Mac testing.
• Experience with mobile automation, particularly in Swift (iOS).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web-based workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and report any issues or defects.
