This role involves working with control systems, robotics, software, and data systems to reduce manual intervention and optimize performance.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processesProgram and troubleshoot PLC's (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI'sDevelop and maintain control systems, including SCADA and DCSIdentify opportunities for automation to improve productivity and reduce costsSupport commissioning, installation, and testing of equipmentTroubleshoot equipment and system issues to minimize downtimeCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production)Ensure systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standardsDocument automation processes, system configuration, and proceduresAnalyze system performance data and implement continuous improvementQualifications and Skills Required Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or related field)3+ years of related professional experienceExperience with control systems, automation systems, and roboticsStrong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocolsProficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systemsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsPreferred Experience with robotics (Fanuc, Yaskawa, etc.)Knowledge of industry 4.0 technologies, IoT, and data analyticsExperience with vision systems and machine learning applicationsLean manufacturing and six sigma knowledgeExperience with modeling or electrical print software (e.g. CAD, Solid Works, Creo)Technical expertise in controls and automationCritical thinking and troubleshootingStrong communication and teamworkProject execution and time managementManufacturing production floor and professional office environment.Occasional travel may be required.*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
