Our client, a leading supplier of industrial automation solutions, is looking for a driven and technically strong Automation Controls Product Manager to lead and grow a key product line focused on power supplies and circuit protection.

What You’ll Do
Own and grow a product line from strategy through execution
Build and execute a multi-year product roadmap
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Identify and launch new products—from concept through commercialization
Work cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and marketing teams
Define product requirements, pricing, and positioning
Support product lifecycle decisions, including improvements and end-of-life planning
Provide high-level technical support and product expertise
What You Bring
Background in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls
Strong knowledge of power supplies and circuit protection components
Experience with industrial automation technologies (PLCs, HMIs, drives, etc.)
Ability to analyze markets, manage projects, and influence product strategy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus Experience
Product management or application engineering background
Familiarity with UL, CE, CSA, or other regulatory standards
Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
