Title: Controls / Automation Engineer (Mid-Level / Senior-Level)Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time)Salary: $110k - $120kControls / Automation Engineer Role:Our client is seeking a highly motivated engineer responsible for the design, programming, commissioning, and support of industrial automation systems for a wide range of manufacturing and process industry customers. This role exists to successfully manage complex automation projects from initial concept through startup while ensuring technical excellence and ultimate customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Design, develop, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systemsProgram and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC systemsDevelop and support Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk View SE and ME HMI applicationsConfigure and program Rockwell Kinetix motion control systems and servo applicationsDevelop and troubleshoot Siemens PLC and HMI applications using TIA PortalManage automation projects from initial design through final implementationDevelop functional specifications, control narratives, and project documentationInterface directly with customers to define requirements and provide technical supportParticipate in machine startups, commissioning activities, and customer acceptance testingTroubleshoot existing automation systems and support field service personnel during installationsCollaborate with electrical designers, technicians, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budgetReporting Relationships:This position reports to the Engineering Manager (or designated technical lead) and collaborates collaboratively with electrical designers, technicians, and project managers.
