Working at EMUS as a Controls Engineer, you will be given theopportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting higher-level engineers in the toner department with assignments to evaluate, select, order, install, set up, design modifications for, test, troubleshoot, improve the performance of, and establish maintenance procedures for manufacturing equipment.
The Controls Engineer will:
Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2-4 years' experience in controls/electrical engineering. Strong in PLC (Omron is a plus) and HMI programming, and Drives (Servos, VFDs). Strong understanding of the electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles to create and maintain automated processes. Strong ability to program Robots (Fanuc and Epson is a plus). Strong proficiency in setting up and programming vision system (Keyence is a plus). Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to the production of various products. (Plus, experience in chemical manufacturing process/powder handling). Strong in math, statistical analysis, and research skills. Strong in analytical, problem solving, communication, project management and presentation skills. Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
