An employee-owned engineering and technical services firm that has been delivering industrial automation, controls, and consulting solutions since 2015 is looking for an automation & controls professional with leadership experience. With a presence across the West Coast, the team is known for its authentic, partnership-driven approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, honest solutions to clients.
Summary: As a Regional Business Manager you will lead office operations, business development, and financial performance. This leadership role balances strategy and execution—driving growth, ensuring successful project delivery, and developing a strong, high-performing team. You will report to the President and work closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive business development efforts, build client relationships, and lead proposals, scoping, and estimation
Oversee project execution to ensure successful delivery, quality, and client satisfaction
Provide technical leadership in automation, controls, and system architecture
Lead, mentor, and develop team members while supporting recruiting and retention efforts
Manage regional P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
Develop and execute business plans aligned with the firm's growth strategy
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
10–15 years of automation/engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment
5+ years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility
Strong technical background in industrial controls, PLC/HMI, or SCADA systems
Proven success in business development and client relationship management
Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational excellence
