Join our dynamic team as 1st Shift, Automation and Controls Engineer, in our Oxford O faclity. What will you do? Design, develop, and modify automation and control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes Program and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks (new installations and upgrades) Diagnose and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability Support commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and production lines Develop and maintain electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control documentation Implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction Provide on-site technical support during production issues, breakdowns, and planned maintenance Collaborate with mechanical, process, and quality engineers to integrate automation solutions Ensure control systems comply with applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Train maintenance and operations personnel on control systems and automation best practices Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM Who will you report to? Methods & Maintenance Manager What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in automation and manufacturing industry. Experience with common PLC platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or equivalent) HMI/SCADA development and troubleshooting experience Familiarity with industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, etc.) Robotics integration and programming experience Vision systems, motion control, and servo systems knowledge We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
