Experienced Gate Technician – Full Time
Location: Ventura, CA
Pay: $26 per hour (DOE)
Established gate and access control company seeking an experienced Gate Technician. This is not an entry-level position.

We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Gate Technician who takes ownership of their work and represents the company professionally in the field.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with automatic gate systems (swing & slide)
- Strong troubleshooting skills (low voltage & 110V)
- Experience with operators such as LiftMaster, DoorKing, Viking, FAAC, etc.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Clean driving record
- Professional appearance and communication
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automatic gates (swing & slide)
- Troubleshoot operators, access control systems, keypads, intercoms, and safety devices
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Install new gate operators and related components
- Identify needed parts and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Complete detailed and accurate service notes for billing and documentation
- Communicate clearly with customers on-site
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
