About the job AutoCAD Designer (Direct Hire)FCS is seeking an experienced AutoCADDesigner for a leading industrial manufacturer in Elkton, MD. This is a direct-hire, permanent position with a well-established company offering a competitive salary, employee stock options, profit sharing, annual bonuses, comprehensive medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other excellent perks.In this role, the Designer will play a key part in supporting the Project Management team by creating, revising, and reviewing detailed 2D and 3D blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD 2D & 3D software, and a background working within a Welding/Fabrication & CNC Machining environment.Experience using ASME (Section I, IV, or VIII) standards in developing and modifying technical blueprints and drawings.Skilled in creating and reading shop fabrication drawings, spreadsheets, technical engineering drawings, specifications.Ability to create BOMs, technical drawings and preliminary cost estimates.2 Year Technical Degree is highly preferred.Must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.First Choice Staffing is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
