AutoCAD -Design Automation Implementation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AutoCAD - Design Automation Implementation Specialist to drive the development and deployment of automated design solutions within our engineering and architectural teams. Duties

• Develop, customize, and implement AutoCAD automation scripts and plugins to optimize design processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify automation opportunities that improve accuracy and speed.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AutoCAD software, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on new automation tools, best practices, and updates.
• Integrate AutoCAD automation workflows with other software systems such as Revit or project management tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation procedures, scripts, and system configurations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of design workflows within engineering or architectural environments.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace, SharePoint, and LMS platforms.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and network environments including computer networking concepts.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or HTML for integration purposes.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Oracle for data management and collaboration.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively across various operating systems and hardware configurations.
• Strong communication skills for teaching team members new tools and providing exceptional customer service support.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Premiere for multimedia content creation related to training materials or project presentations.
• Understanding of EMR systems or other specialized software relevant to project documentation or healthcare-related design work is a plus.
