Our team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software and their electrical systems expertise. Compensation:$105,000 - $130,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships
- When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
- Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
- Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
- Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach
- Responsible for performing diagnosis
- Responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Taking extra care and attention to ensure vehicles are not damaged while under our care
Qualifications:- Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
- Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
- High school diploma or GED is required
- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Porsche Experience
- Engine building experience on air-cooled engines is required
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and time management skills
- Commitment to “Fixing it right the first time” and guaranteeing customer satisfaction
- Ability and desire to be a “team player” and display a positive work attitude
- Valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record during employment
- Ability to adapt and overcome challenges that may come your way
